Sharing and Early Division

When we talk about sharing, we’re laying the foundations for early division, and with leftovers we’re tackling those tricky remainders.

This is a great way to approach division problems at home by putting it into a practical context, and the items shared out are only limited by your imagination. Maybe share out some sweets, and whoever works out the remainder gets the leftovers, or share resources in games like Minecraft or Animal Crossing and find how many items will be left.
